strength

rosanne

We spent the day laughing and telling stories. Playing with the dogs. Eating a big breakfast. Buying pajamas at Target. A day like many others we've had in the past, during our lifetime of friendship, nothing out of the ordinary.

Except that tomorrow Rosanne undergoes a double mastectomy at the age of 40.

I am concerned, hopeful, and a little sad. But mostly, I am proud.

4 days in and I'm starting to see life on the other side of this. Thank God for you, Lisa. With all the simple, normal (for us)things from Sunday, you gave me the best gift you could to help me face this. You are a true blessing in my life and I love you so much.
Your Rosanne
