Yes, officially! This is the newest member of our family, Hope, who was born April 28th. Her dad is my youngest brother, just confirmed with a handy-dandy DNA test (a long story which I won't go into here, but he and the mother are friends but no longer in a relationship). I haven't met Hope in person yet, since I didn't want to get attached until we knew for sure . . . but now nothing is in my way! Let me at her!
I'll be going home over July 4th weekend, so I'll get to hold her and take lots of photos of her. I can't wait!
P.S. Just look at all her big wild hair . . . she's my niece for sure!
